Melbourne’s last weekend of auction results for winter ended on a high with great results across the city including a bank house in Port Melbourne that sold for nearly $400,000 more than its’ reserve.  If you were bidding on your dream home this weekend I hope you were successful!

If you’re a first home buyer, latest stats show Mum and Dad have jumped the queue to become the 11th largest lender in Australia! Mine helped me out a few years ago, so this comes as no surprise and I can only imagine how grateful many people are for this helping hand.

The Block had their anything but a bedroom reveal on Sunday night – for those watching the underdogs Hannah and Clint came out on top with a well-deserved win.  As always I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Also this week, we take a look at what future apartment may look like; take a peek at a Long Island mansion for sale that inspired The Great Gatsby (swoon!), and showcase ten of the most popular pendant lights for those redecorating or renovating their home.

Have a great week everyone.
