In Australian property news this week we look at which suburbs have surged in population over the last 5 years. There are some great maps to view that show the extent of the change.

For investors, there are some tips for buying apartments and what to look for; and for renovators, we have a spreadsheet to help with your budget setting. Don’t you love a good spreadsheet!

Kmart continues to push forward in the styling stakes with the launch of a new app for iMessage that allows you to take a photo, send it to your friends and stick Kmart items on it to see what they would look like in the room. In other styling tips, I’ve found an article that shows how to hide some of your home tech (I would love to get rid of all those cables!).

And lastly, The Block guest bedrooms were revealed on Sunday night. I just love the winning bedroom from Ronnie and Georgia.

Enjoy!
