Let’s take a look at this week’s property news!

We all love to look at stats about us, don’t we? I know I do! A new article out this week on www.realestate.com.au looks at Australia’s most in-demand commuter suburbs (those within 10-25km of the CBD). Pick your suburb from the dropdown and see how many visits each property is receiving.

Are you living alone?  This is becoming the new norm, with more and more of us choosing this living arrangement.  Problem is, the make-up of housing is not reflecting this change (think big family homes). It will be interesting to see how this is tackled moving forward.

And in other news: Perth house prices have hit a new low (let’s hope the only way is up!); an interesting apartment is being built in Cairo that uses technology to increase sustainability; we look at a Melbourne renovation that keeps to its’ industrial heritage; and lastly auction clearance rates drop as winter sets in across the states.

Hope you have a great week.

Enjoy!
