This Week In Australian Property #26

Hope everyone had a great weekend. My son turned 1, so ours was a little crazy!

It wouldn’t be a week in property discussions without talk of avocado toast….this weekend an agent gave out avo toast to all who attended a Melbourne property auction. Love the initiative!

We’re seeing a rush on property sales for investors in Victoria with stamp duty changes coming into effect in the next two weeks; unfortunate statistics out of Perth re suburbs affected by the mining boom with residents having difficulty paying their mortgages, and auction rates are dropping across the states.

With the weather here in Melbourne on the chilly side, I’ve included an article on including underfloor heating in your bathroom. Yes, please!

Lastly, the new Monopoly board for Australia is on its’ way after a public vote for landmarks and towns. Some surprises await!

Have a great week.
