Some good news this week for first home buyers in NSW with stamp duty exemptions announced. Given the price increases in this market, it will be much-needed assistance for those looking to buy their first house.

Also announced this week is the introduction of a clearance certificate to prove you are not a foreign resident when selling a home for more than $750,000.

Prices were smashed in this weekend’s round of auctions; we look at some tips when renovating; take a sneak peek inside Ellen Pompeo’s Hampton home, and check in with Bradley Beer on the new depreciation rules that come into effect on July 1.

Have a great week!
